See How Disney Channel Promoted 101 Dalmatian Street in Scandinavia

101 Dalmatian Street is one of Disney's newest TV series, and it takes inspiration from the original animated Disney movie. The series had a sneak peek in December 2018 in most of the countries in Europe, and Scandinavia was with no exception.

Disney officially released the series in Scandinavia on 25th March with new episodes every weekday in 2 weeks with ending on 5th April. The series started airing only a week after the United Kingdom.

From the ending of February to now, Disney Channel in Scandinavia aired several promos and idents to promote the series. Besides that, they also had a Dalmatian logo, a countdown bug, and aired some episodes with Dalmatians.

Over time, Disney aired a total of 12 different promos and 21 idents (which I found at least). The text at the end of the promos changed for a lot of them over the weeks. Besides the promos and idents, the channel also aired (and still airs) the theme song as a promotion.

Each of the promos had a "theme" and the idents had Danish text, so I've tried to translate it with words that could've been used in English

At the end of February and in March, some episodes had Dylan, Dolly, and some puppies which would show up on the screen approx. 5-7 minutes in the episode. An ident before the episode would tell that you should look after them. After the episode, an ident would again be shown and tell how many puppies there were in the episode.

Both Disney XD and Disney Junior aired some of the promos so people would know that the series would premiere.

Promos:

- Theme song
1. Dylan & Dolly - 30 sec.
2. Siblings - 30 sec.
3. Small funny fur balls - 1 minute
4. Meet Dylan & Dolly - 30 sec.
5. A big family - 30 sec.
6. Treats - 30 sec.
7. Sweet, soft, crazy - 30 sec.

10. Follow the puppies - 15 sec.

12. The puppy factor - 15 sec.

Idents:

1. "See how many puppies you can find in the next episode." - 5 sec.
2. "1 puppy found" (Dylan) - 5 sec.
3. "1 puppy found" (Dolly) - 5 sec.
4. "1 puppy found" (Dylan (only half of his head is visible)) - 5 sec.
5. "2 puppies found" (Dylan and Dolly) - 5 sec.
6. "2 puppies found" (Dolly and puppy) - 5 sec.
7. "2 puppies found" (2 puppies) - 5 sec.
8. "3 puppies found" - 5 sec.
9. "4 puppies found" - 5 sec.
10. "6 puppies found" - 5 sec.
11. "101 puppies found" - 5 sec.

15. "4 days" - 5 sec.
16. "3 days" - 5 sec.
17. "1 day" - 5 sec.
18. "Today" - 5 sec.
19. Ident with Dylan and Dolly - 5 sec.
20. Ident with Dylan and 6 puppies - 10 sec.
21. Ident with Dylan, Dolly and 1 puppy - 15 sec.

There should probably have been 22 idents, but Disney Channel did not air an ident on Saturday saying the premiere of the series would be in "2 days". The team probably forgot to insert the ident in the system.

Below is the Disney Channel Dalmatian logo that was used to promote the series. It was used from the 18th March to 25th March.

Below is the Dalmatian logo with a "countdown" bug. The bug featured either Dylan or Dolly except for one day which had one of their siblings.

On 25th March, the bug changed to say "Today 16.00". After the episode premiered the same day, the bug was removed.

On Tuesday 26th March, the Dalmatian Disney Channel logo was changed to be transparent, and "HD" was added to the logo. The normal transparent blue DC logo came back on 1st April.

When Disney Channel should put "NY" under the Dalmatian logo to show the episode was new, the logo became tiny. It was probably a mistake in the system which couldn't be fixed. The normal Dalmatian logo did not appear with "NY" any time.

Below, you can see the logos and bugs on a black screen without any other colours to distract. (Besides Zapped)
