When it comes to Disney cinema movies, merchandise floats in stores, but when it comes to Disney Channel Original Movies, you can mostly only find a DVD containing the movie on it.
"Zombies 2" is the 108th DCOM and it was released on the Disney Channel on 14th February in the United States. Hopefully it will be released in other countries soon too. Nowadays, DCOMs don't get much official merchandise, besides as mentioned before a DVD. The Descendants franchise gets much merchandise, but the movies coming out else get almost nothing. That's not the case with Disney's newest DCOM, "Zombies 2".
On 14th February alongside the premiere of "Zombies 2", Mattel revealed a collection of dolls based on the characters on their social media, Facebook and Instagram. The box art hasn't been revealed, only the design of the dolls. They will be exclusive to Amazon.com. According to the listings, the dolls will be available from 1st July 2020 but you can already now pre-order them now.
Descendants has numerous dolls based on their characters and outfit and they are manufactured by Hasbro, so it is exciting to see how Mattel has made these dolls. In my own opinion I'm actually pretty happy to see how much these dolls look like to their source material. I especially like Cheerleader Addison, Zed and Eliza. They really represent their actor which is amazing. Whether you just like the movie or are a doll collector, merchandise collector or just want merchandise based oon the movie, this might be the right stuff for you - no matter what gender you are.
