Today Disney and Lucasfilm has revealed information about an upcoming event which will take place in September. Another Force Friday is to be held later this year but the 2017 version is called "Force Friday II".
On both StarWars.com and the officially Facebook site Lucasfilm has wrote about the event.
The one thing Lucasfilm shared on their Facebook site was a picture of the new product packaging which is based on the new episode in the Star Wars Saga, Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi.
The packaging is featuring the three characters from The Force Awakens Rey (Daisy Ridley), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and Finn (John Boyega).
There was two comments along with the announcement of Force Friday by LEGO and Hasbro:
"It was so much fun to be a part of Star Wars Force Friday, and we can’t wait for fans to join this year’s celebration as we reveal new Star Wars: The Last Jedi products during Force Friday II — a global event that will connect fans and families, and allow them to build, create and share their experiences with others." - Jill Wilfert, the vice president of global licensing and entertainment from The LEGO Group.
Another comment came from the senior vice president Samantha Lomow at Hasbro: "Toys play a unique role in the Star Wars universe, and we’re proud to have been part of that incredible legacy for the past 40 years. The new line for The Last Jedi is our most innovative yet, and we’re excited to unveil it on Force Friday II."
The first wave of Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi products along with other products will be released on the first Friday in September, 1st September 2017.
More information about Force Friday II will be revealed later.
