The upcoming Friday is very special for thousands of Star Wars fans around the world. A new Force Friday called Force Friday II will arrive to celebrate the 8th Episode of Star Wars, The Last Jedi that will premiere in December 2017.
Only a week before the big celebration where hundreds of products based on the movie will be released, Lucasfilm has made an event for the day.
Star Wars published a video with a message from Leia Organa on their YouTube channel.
A new experience called Find the Force will be available between 1st and 3rd September around the world. You'll be able to scan "Find the Force"-logos each day and unlock special items.
You need to download the official Star Wars app from Disney which is available for Apple and Android devices and download the Find the Force feature. A lot of retailers are participating in the event and you can go in a store or on a website to find a new character. A list of retailers has been published.
When you scan the logo an AR character will be revealed and you can unlock digital rewards when you collect data chips.
