Lots of Games and Apps from Disney Interactive Have Been Retired
Disney Interactive has chose to retire some of their apps and games. Check out for more information.
Disney Interactive stand behinds hundreds of games and apps that have been developed through years. Some apps and games doesn't go very well, either because they're boring, hard to complete or another reason.
Even some people still play the games, they can't let the games run if they don't make any money out of it. This means they may be retired/deleted.*
On 3rd January, 2018 Disney Interactive updated their list of retired apps.
You can find the complete list of games and apps here.
Few days after the list was updated, another article came out on Disney Interactive's support website. In the article, Disney write almost all "Where's My Perry?" and "Where's My Mickey?" apps - if not all - will retire on 8th February, 2017. Read more here.
If an app or game retire you'll in some cases still be able to play them. The only function that isn't available is the purchase function. In other cases, the servers for the apps or games will shut down you won't be able to play 'em.
Here's Disney's officially message: "The following Disney Interactive games have been retired. Although the decision was difficult to make, this will allow us to focus on building new and more engaging games. Some of these titles may still be available for download or playable; however there are no plans for future updates and active product support will no longer be provided. If specific platforms are listed for the app, other platforms of the app remain live. We appreciate your support and understand.
Please note that Disney Interactive is not responsible for providing refunds or credits for any virtual items, in-game currency, or other items that may no longer be available once a game is shut down. For more information, please see Disney Terms of Use."
The last of the first half of the message Disney writes means, if a game or app is made for both Apple, Android and Windows, the app can be shut down for Windows. This means the game is no longer available for Windows, but can still be downloaded and played on Apple or Android.

*If a game or an app shuts down is doesn't immediately means they don't make any money out of it. There can be many reasons for why a game or an app shuts down, but this is just one reason.
**Please note that the image shown is just to have a picture in the entry. Disney Crossy Road is still available to download and play without no any plans of shutting down in the future. However, the game has been shut down for Windows as stated in the link given above.
