LEGO Set Based on Disney's Tron to be Released



A new LEGO set will soon be available. This time, Tron have taken the place.


Tron was a movie from 1982 which got a sequel called Tron: Legacy in 2010.

A LEGO Ideas member group called BrickBros UK has designed a Tron: Legacy set featuring a Light Cycle, a base and Sam Flynn as minifigure.

The project on LEGO Ideas reached 10,000 votes which a project needs. The LEGO Group begun their own designing and decided to release it.

The set will already be available on 31st March, 2018 as an exclusive to LEGO Stores and LEGO Shop.

The set will feature 2 Light Cycles, a grid/display base and 3 minifigures of Sam Flynn, Quorra and Rinzler.

The set can be seen on the LEGO Shop website as LEGO already has listed the set. The set isn't available to add to the bag yet.


This isn't the first time a LEGO Ideas member get a Disney set released. The LEGO Ideas member MacLane reached the 10,000 supporters with his WALL-E project and was released. And before you ask, yes, it's the real Angus MacLane. Angus works daily at the Pixar Animation Studios and was the Directing Animator of WALL-E (2007).
