My Thoughts on Disney Infinity 4.0

New game, new adventures, new figures.

Today marks exact 2 years after Disney Infinity was closed completely, 3rd March 2017. Disney Infinity was an online video game that was released in August 2013 with its first edition. In September 2014, the game was expanded with a new edition called "Disney Infinity 2.0" which included Marvel to appear. And in August 2015, the game was expanded another time. This one was called "Disney Infinity 3.0" and included characters based on the Star Wars theme.

The game was developed by Avalanche Software but because it would close on 11th May 2016, Disney announced that the game would retire. Some figures were still released to buy after the announcement. They were not different from the previous figures, only that the new figures didn't consist of a code card to unlock the characters in the app game.

The game was officially closed on 3rd March 2017. After the game's closure, speculations have been surfing around what Disney Infinity 4.0 could have featured. Even images have appeared of what probably is footages of the cancelled edition.

I have made a list of single figures and Play Sets I would like to have seen in the 4th edition of the game. I have chosen the figures based on the previous releases, and what I would like to see, but with a few more added characters than Disney Infinity 3.0 had. Both 1.0 and 2.0 had around 30 figures, while 3.0 has around 50 figures. My version of Disney Infinity 4.0's theme is based on my love to the Disney channels: Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior.
