Why 'Star Wars Resistance' is Worth Watching

What makes people skip 'Resistance'?

No spoilers

What is the series 'Why This is Worth Watching'?
This post is the second in its series. It will feature movies or TV series that are less popular or could use more attention. Each post will feature my own opinion (TheDisneyFanBlog) as well as others' point of view. The purpose of the series is to get readers another way to see a production.

'Star Wars Resistance' is an animated TV series that ran for two seasons on Disney Channel and Disney XD. Despite being just like 'The Clone Wars' and 'Rebels', many people skip this series and that's a shame.

But why do people do this? The TV series features a young character named Kazuda 'Kaz' Xiono, he is becoming a spy for the Resistance and go undercover on a station called Colossus on the planet Castilon. The story is much alike 'The Clone Wars' and 'Rebels', so it's not the story, it's actually the animation style: the series is anime. So what? ‘The Clone Wars’ features one animation, ‘Rebels’ features another animation. No difference.

Here it is obvious that Star Wars fans are less liking anime as they would skip a Star Wars production for this, also if the series has something to do with the sequel trilogy.

Season 1 of 'Resistance' takes place six months before 'The Force Awakens' and shows how the First Order is developing, while Season 2 takes place between 'The Last Jedi' and 'The Rise of Skywalker'. Although the series does not add much to the Star Wars universe, except for new characters, the series is still interesting to watch and a little expansion shouldn't hurt anyone. A few well-known characters are also making an appearance.

Without spoiling anything, the younger audience might also learn something from the series: that you don't have to be smart or lucky to solve problems, you just need to be yourself.

The series is also showing how it is to be on the side of the enemy from a regular person's point of view which has been captured amazingly.

Some might think the first episodes of the series is tough to go through, but it is no difference from The Clone Wars and Rebels where the exciting stuff is coming from Season 2 and onward.

Now there is not more to say than I think you should try watching the series. You've probably already seen the entire Skywalker Saga, Rogue One, Solo, The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Mandalorian, so why skip Resistance as the only one? Maybe you will find it more exciting that you thought.

What if I haven’t watched The Clone Wars or Rebels?
Don’t worry. I might compare Resistance with the two other animated series, but if you haven’t seen them yet, I’ve told all I can say about the series. You will see what I mean when you watch it,
