Disney Channel has finally revealed that the Zombies franchise will be getting a third movie. Production is set to begin this spring.
The movie will once again star Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim as Addison and Zed respectively, with the characters beginning their final year at Seabrook High. While everything turned good in the second movie, the characters will have to deal with new beings in Seabrook once again.
Not much information is provided, but if you have seen the last scene in 'Zombies 2', there is something happening to Addison at the end. Something we might see in 'Zombies 3'.
According to Lauren Kisilevski, vice president, Original Movies, Disney Branded Television, 'Zombies 3' will be the final movie in the franchise.
While no official date is given yet, it should probably be released sometime in 2022, as there are plans for two or three DCOMs in 2021. 'Zombies 3' will then be the 112th or 113th Disney Channel Original Movie.

In the final scene of 'Zombies 2' we see Addison trying to fall asleep. Something is falling from the sky, with the radio beside Addison turning on and probably trying to come in contact with her. Her hair then glows.
With the image revealed alongside the movie itself, a light can be seen. The light could be something from an UFO.
