Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior love summer, and they also do in Scandinavia. A lot of things happened in the summer period, which I will take a look at now.
At first, we saw the return of the following series, but unfortunately, only a few episodes aired: Cars Toons, Descendants: Wicked World, Star Wars Rebels Shorts, Take Two with Phineas and Ferb, The Emperor's New School, and The Suite Life on Deck.
The times listed in this post are the time of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
Let's start with Disney Junior.
Disney Junior started their summer theme on 27th May with an ending on 2nd September.
The channel aired several promos promoting some new "themes" coming at a time where a specific series would air. When the episodes aired, an animated bug was on the screen in the meantime.
Some (if not all) of the series that had a bug were: Cars Toons, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, PJ Mask, The Lion Guard, Doc McStuffins, Gigantosaurus, Marvel Super Hero Adventures, Fancy Nancy, and Vampirina.
Disney XD started their summer theme the same time as Disney Junior, from 27th May to 2nd September.
In the period Disney XD aired several promos to promote the specials they would air during summer.
I have noted every single special XD aired in the summer. The channel also seperated some specials into single episodes but I haven't noted them. One of them being the Season 3 premiere of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Marvel's Spider-Man did not air in specials, but what I can find out, the series doesn't have any specials but episodes with continuation.
Disney XD also had a yellow logo instead of their normal green one:

The channel that did most out of summer was Disney Channel. Countless promos and idents aired while the channel had their summer theme from 10th June to 12th August.
While the promos promoted the movies and specials airing on the channel, the idents showed the Disney Channel logo and some kids do activities. Others also showed scenes from a movie or series.
Disney Channel also had 3 different logos in the period. I'm not actually sure when the different logos were changed but I do know that the first logo came from 10th June. The 3rd logo was used from 3rd July to 12th August.

The most surprising with the specials on Disney Channel is that they aired an episode from both Star Wars Rebels and Elena of Avalor. "Elena and the Secret of Avalor" belongs to both Sofia the First and Elena of Avalor, but "Realms of the Jaquins" is only an Elena of Avalor episode. The surprising was not how the specials aired but why they aired. In Scandinavia, Disney has cancelled Season 4 of Star Wars Rebels while Elena of Avalor was cancelled after Season 1. It is very weird they aired these episodes as the last new episode from both series are from 2018. Also the return of the Star Wars Rebels Shorts was surprising, of course.
