So many things are happening for Club Penguin Island in the coming month: game release for desktop computers, the return of Coins for Change, and the next update.
Club Penguin Island will get its biggest update to date - according to The Club Penguin Team themselves.
Club Penguin Island release for PC and Mac
The Club Penguin Team has announced that Club Penguin Island finally will be released for desktop computers. The game will be released for PC and Apple's Mac computers when the next update is out. The game for computers will only be a beta version until the full release later.
The game will feature the entire island along with igloos, and will connect with the mobile game too. You can access both the computer version and the mobile version with your existing account - you don't need to create a new one.
The return of Coins for Change
Coins for Change was an event held every year at the Holiday Party in the origin Club Penguin. The Club Penguin Team has announced that Coins for Change will appear in Club Penguin Island.

Update 1.8
The coming update 1.8 will soon arrive in the app stores with new features for Club Penguin Island. The Club Penguin Team has written some notes for what we can expect in the update.
Everyone can:
- Create and igloo and invite friends.
- Use their CPI account across mobile and PC & Mac
- Stop Herbert for ruining the island feast
- Help a real world charity by donating coins to Coins for Change
- Track activities on the CPI Phone's Island Live app
Members can:
- Access exclusive igloo furniture, lightning, and music
- Collect items inspired by Olaf's Frozen Adventure
- Be a hero with Big Hero 6 fashion
- Celebrate the holidays with new party supplies
The release date of the update is still unknown, but it will should be in late November or just in early December.
