The Club Penguin franchise is over..
On 20th December, Club Penguin Island closed, but it came back on 21st December with an offline mode. When the game closed, features like the "online mode" and the "friend list" were removed. You can either watch the Club Penguin Island Blog anymore.
Alongside the closed game on 20th December, Disney also shut down the officially ClubPenguinIsland.com website. Now, when you visit the website, you'll be redirected to the official Disney website. Besides that, Disney will not provide any support for the game anymore.
Disney has still kept the Club Penguin Island Support website which you can watch here. They have written about the retiring of Club Penguin Island and the offline mode. A new feature called "Debug Mode" is available to unlock in the game and you can read how to do on the website too.
According to Disney, you'll be able to play Club Penguin Island forever, but I personally advise you to keep in mind that the game could crash or you could end of with it don't work anymore. If you want to keep some of your items from the game, I would advise you to screen record or screenshot the features in the game, so you'll be able to look at the game anytime. You never know.
