In 2019 in Denmark, Disney promoted Pixar's Toy Story 4 movie a lot. Actually so much that an event was taking place.
Disney teamed up with Carado to make an event called "Toy Story 4 on Tour" which ran through the summer. They turned up in different cities where there were activities, competitions and a Toy Story 4 decorated RV. You could also make your very own Forky with the same materials as in the movie and take it with you home.
The toy store BR had a Toy Story 4 display with some of the products. I don't know if all stores had this, but the store at Ro's Torv, Roskilde at least had this.
Also cinemas had Toy Story 4 themed promotional materials. This is not something special as cinemas are always getting delivered something to display for the movies coming out.
To promote Toy Story 4 further, Disney teamed up with the companies Danone, The Bel Group, and Kellogg's to produce food products for the movie, all labelled with the Disney Kitchen brand.
The Toy Story 4 food products were available from the end of July to sometime in October. Some products first showed up later in the period.
The Toy Story 4 collection of food products from Danone consisted of the seven products seen on the pictures. There were either yoghurt for eating or drinking. The big package on picture two was probably exclusive to the store Netto and was available in a limited time, more limited than the other products.
The drinking yoghurt had bottles with four different designs, with the characters being the Aliens, Jessie, Woody, and Buzz Lightyear.
Two different packs of Kellogg's Coco Pops were released with Toy Story 4. Each pack contained a little pack of two sheets of stickers, with a total of four different sheets. The green pack was probably exclusive to Netto for a limited time, too.
The Bel Group who produces the Babybel cheeses was a part of this too. The normal version of the Babybel cheese with six cheeses were transformed into Toy Story 4. The box they were delivered in had Toy Story 4, with the plastic around the cheeses having a different character from the movie. This product did not has the Disney Kitchen label visible, but if you teared from the white triangle on the tag attached to the net, the label became visible.
The collection of plastic with different characters had a total of eighteen.
If you did not look on the plastic to get the most perfect one, you could also get some with print errors. Below is showing two different of the same character, with the one on the left side being the error, and the one on the right side being the original.
The next products are not part of the Disney Kitchen brand.
If you visited a supermarket or cinema who normally sells the Pez candy dispensers, you could probably find some with Toy Story 4. The collection only consisted of four different characters, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Bo Peep, and Slinky.
Egmont who creates different magazines released a Toy Story 4 themed activity bag with a magazine and a bag of toys. The magazine had a story from Disney Comics retelling the entire movie.
For Christmas, two ornaments were released with Toy Story 4. The one being a star and another being a bauble, which I unfortunately didn't get hold of. The ornaments had chocolate coins inside. Their availability were very rare. I did only see them in the store Rema 1000. The ornaments were made in metal.
Another important thing for Christmas is an advent calendar. Stores had two different Disney chocolate calendars with either Toy Story 4 or Frozen II.
Like the Toy Story 4 ornaments, these Frozen II ornaments were also rare. While the Toy Story 4 ones had normal package for the chocolate coins inside, the Frozen II ones had characters on them.
Probably exclusive to the stores Netto and Lidl, a collection of four Frozen II Pez figures were available. The packs in Netto had three different blocks and were priced 15 DKK (approx. $2.18/£1.77). The packs in Lidl only had one block and were priced 10 DKK (approx. $1.46/£1.18).
To promote Frozen II in Denmark, Disney teamed up with Danone to change their Danonino products to Frozen II, all labelled with the Disney Kitchen brand.
The Danonino products were available from the end of November 2019 to the end of January 2020.
The Frozen II collection from Danone consisted of seven food products. The last product was probably exclusive to Netto like the one with Toy Story 4.
Four bottles with different characters were available in the drinking yoghurt packs from Danone. Only the characters Olaf, Kristoff, Anna, and Elsa were made.
Something exclusive to Lidl, Disney had teamed up with Zaini to produce Frozen II themed products with chocolate. The products were available until stocks last.
The two products consisted of some Frozen II themed bags with chocolate balls. Of unknown reasons, the tin box was not wearing the Disney Kitchen label.
Two Christmas stockings were available, filled with chocolate, chips and Kinder Joy-like eggs with chocolate and a surprise.
