LEGO Reveals 'Home Alone' Set

Just in time for the movie's 31st anniversary.

LEGO has this week revealed their set based on 20th Century Fox's 'Home Alone' from 1990. The set is produced because of LEGO Ideas where a fan has created a similar model and submitted it with the hope of the model becoming an official set in the future.

Now, over a year later, the set will very soon be released. The projekt hit its 10,000 vote in 2019 and was revealed in the summer of 2020 to become an official product.

The 3,955-piece set will be available from 1st November 2021 on LEGO.com and retail for $249.99/£229.99/249,99 €/1999 DKK.

The set contains the McCallister's house, filled with references to both the original movie and the sequel, minifigures of five characters (Kevin, Kevin's mum Kate, the robbers Harry and Marv and the neighbour Marley), the robber's van and the treehouse.

The set becomes the 5th LEGO Ideas set to be based on a Disney property, due to The Walt Disney Company's purchase of 21st Century Fox in 2019. The other four sets are: WALL-E, Tron: Legacy, Steamboat Willie and Winnie the Pooh.
