Disney is currently developing Sister Act 3 for their upcoming streaming service Disney+ which will arrive sometime in 2019.
It is still unknown whether Whoopi Goldberg will make an appearance in the movie or not. No plot details have been given either.
The 1st Sister Act was released in 1992 and followed a sequel in 1993, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.
