Danish Disney Movie DVD's Gets British Designs

Disney has released 16 movies in Denmark inspired by the British DVD design.

The British Disney Classics that are released on DVD in the United Kingdom has one or few characters from the movie on the DVD cover along with a colour appropriately to the movie.

Disney has in Denmark in April 2017 released 16 of Denmark's 54 Disney Classics with a cardboard sleeve around the DVD that are inspired by the British Disney Classics. Inside the cardboard sleeve there's a DVD with the normal Danish DVD design. The movie is the latest edition of the movie.

Disney has now only released the 16 DVD's in Dansk Supermarked's stores Bilka and Føtex.

The pictures above shows both Bilka's and Føtex' catalogs advertisements for the Disney Classics.

While Disney and Dansk Supermarked only have showed 6 out of 16 DVDs I've asked other Danish fans of Disney. The Dane Vanessa Struck was quick enough to collect all of the 16 movies and sent me a picture:

The following Disney movies with the cardboard sleeve around are (in order - also on the picture):

01. Snehvide og De Syv Små Dværge (origin: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
02. Pinocchio
12. Askepot (origin: Cinderella)
14. Peter Pan
19. Junglebogen (origin: The Jungle Book)
21. Robin Hood
28. Den Lille Havfrue (origin: The Little Mermaid)
30. Skønheden & Udyret (origin: Beauty and the Beast)
32. Løvernes Konge (origin: The Lion King)
33. Pocahontas
46. Helt Vildt (origin: The Wild)
50: To På Flugt (origin: Tangled)
51. Vilde Rolf (origin: Wreck-It Ralph)
52. Frost (origin: Frozen)
53. Big Hero 6
54. Zootropolis (origin: Zootopia)

Why Disney has made these cardboard sleeve is unknown. It could be a test to see how many that are interested in the British designs. Or it could be to get a higher sale.

It's unknown how long the cardboard sleeve will be around the DVDs but probably until the offer ends. Hopefully, this can be a new start of something from Disney.

Which Disney Classic is your favourite?

And a big thanks to the Dane Vanessa Struck from Facebook to make this entry real.
