Pixar Tin Toy - Easter Countdown 1/7
Today I start the countdown for Easter 2017 which ends on Sunday 16th April. At the first day, we will take a look on one of the first Pixar short films, Tin Toy.
Tin Toy is one of Pixar's first short films and was released in 1988.
In the short film you can find a lot of Easter Eggs and also some mistakes.
Let's start.
The logo on the grey bag is the logo of RenderMan which was the program Pixar used for the short film.
If you look at the picture on the wall beside the door you can find the two Luxo lamps.
When Tinny (the toy) stands with the other toys you can look under the couch and there's nothing. When Tinny runs under the couch in fear of the baby, there are a lot of toys. This is a mistake because you can't see it earlier in the short film.
Another Easter Egg in on the second picture. If you look at the white and black toy at the left side it could look like EVE from WALL•E (2008). The toy could be the inspiration for EVE later.
When Tinny runs from Billy (the baby) you can see him pass a table with a picture and a watering can. If you look the entire time you can see some mistakes. When Tinny pass the table you can seconds later see him do it again. Hard to explain you'll have to experience it before. But you'll see the mistake.
If you look at the couch when the camera shows it, there's a magazine named Sunset which is a magazine published in the America.
Has you noticed some of the things?
And don't forget to take a look of Your Friend the Rat tomorrow and all the others.
