Disney Legends will be higher this year with nine people to join at D23.
Before I get started I will explain two words "D23" and "Disney Legends". D23 is an official Disney fan club The Walt Disney Company has started. The D stands for Disney and 23 for 1923, the year TWDC was found. You can join the club if you have a membership and then you can attend special events, get merchandise and read exclusive articles. Disney Legends is a group of Disney workers who has done a great job for TWDC.
This year, D23 will again be available to attend in the summer 2017 at D23 Expo in USA. On 14th July, the man of The Walt Disney Company Bob Iger himself will honor the 9 people as Disney Legends to the Disney Legends Award. And in 2017, the Disney Legends Award celebrates their 30th anniversary, from 1987 to 2017.
