Descendants 3 is coming next year. Take a look at the first teaser for the 3rd movie.
Disney Channel has announced that Descendants 3 is coming and will be here in the summer of 2019.
During the DCOM Zombies that premiered on 16th February in USA, Disney Channel showed a teaser for Descendants 3.

A new character, and probably the next villain, will be Mal's dad.
Descendants 3 will begin production in Vancouver, Canada this summer. Both Dove Cameron (Mal), Sofia Carson (Evie), Cameron Boyce (Carlos), Booboo Stewart (Jay), Mitchell Hope (King Ben) and China Anne McClain (Uma) will all be back in the next sequel.
Casting for Descendants 3 will begin at a later date.
