Club Penguin

From 2000 to 2005, Club Penguin was a chat room called Penguin Chat. First in 2005, Club Penguin began as a real virtual game. In the game you're on the island called Club Penguin where you're a penguin. You can do many different Things on the island, for example, change colour, play minigames, buy clothes, make an igloo, buy funiture, adopt pets, and be at newest party. You can also earn coins and stamps.


In August 2007, Disney bought Club Penguin for $350 million. Since then, Club Penguin has been a part of The Walt Disney Company.
The game is for alle ages and genders, and is fun to play.

What you need to know about the game:

Parties:

Each month few days after the half of the month, you can join a party on the island. There are many different parties. It can be Disney inspired, Holiday themed, Fair, Medieval, Agent (From the agent team in the game, EPF -> Elite Penguin Force), or Music Jam. For each party there are tasks and new clothes you can buy, and there also be a mascot or two.

Mascots:

Mascots are some of the famous people on the island Club Penguin. For the most of the time, they will only visit the island if there's a party. Example, you can meet a pirates, a villian, a band, or maybe agent. If you meet one of them, you'll be able to be their friends and get an autograph.

Month Stuff:

Each month there you can buy clothes, or buy funiture to your igloo, or a new igloo. Some times the clothes or funitures are inspired by the party of the month. Twice a month, you can find a pin and read the newspaper. A pin is an item you can collect. It will be able to find in a room on the island, the room is always hidden. Then, you can put it to your playercard, and it can be find in your Stamp Book.

Stamp Book:

The Stamp Book can be found on your playercard. Here you'll find your stamps and pins. The stamps can be get inside games, if you find a mascot, or do something special.

Friends:

Years ago, you could only have 50 friends. Few years ago, the friend list was updated to 500. You can see when your friends are online. You can also make some friends as favourites. And at the bottom of the friends list there will be your mascot friends.

Mini games:

There are a lot of games on the island. In the games you can get stamps and coins. You can also play for fun.

The most important - Membership:

The most important thing within Club Penguin is a Membership. If you don't have a Membership you'll not be able to buy clothes or funitures, get some stamps, or for example, be in some rooms at the party. With no Membership you can almost do nothing. The Membership cost real money and can be found on ClubPenguin.com's site.

The game is fun to play.
