Movie Facts About Monsters University, Frozen, and Big Hero 6

During the time on Disney Channel in Denmark, there had been several programs about the Disney and Pixar movies.
I have collected a lot of facts from the movies of Monsters University, Frozen, and Big Hero 6 with a "behind the scene" show. They tell how they made the movies and other things.

These three programs are from 2014 and 2015 so they are old, but it's still right about the facts.

Monsters University was the first program to be aired on the Danish Disney Channel I've seen about behind the scenes. The name of the show was Monsters University: Behind the Screams, and followed the man Nigel Clarke during Pixar's headquater. In Monsters University, which is made by Pixar, we follow Mike and Sulley when they're only 10 years old. The movie takes place before Monsters, Inc.

Facts:

- In the approx. 30 minutes the program took where we saw behind the scenes of the movie, we met a lot of people around the headquater. One of them Nigel speaked with was Kelsey Mann. He told, that he and his team made over 100,000 storyboards for Monsters University.
- Sulley is one of the characters who has really many hair on his body. Sulley has exactly five and a half million individual hair onhis body, and they're all animated in the movie.
- The teams the different monsters are on in the movie have all shorten names. For example, the team Mike and Sulley joins is OK. The name is Oozma Kappa in real.
- The Next time you'll see Monsters University you can see after the hidden things. As example, on more of the houses there are hidden faces.

They gave also a sneak peek of two upcoming Pixar movies. The two movies got its opening night last year and this year: The Good Dinosaur and Finding Dory.

In the second program on Disney Channel was Frozen. I don't have the origin name but the Danish was Frost: En Frysende Specialitet.
In Frozen, we follow Anna and Elsa who are sisters. When Elsa a day shall be crowned, she by accident showed her magical powers. Because of that, she runs away from Arendelle. Anna takes on adventure to find her sister with two others, Kristoff and Sven.

Facts:

- The animators used a week to make 3 seconds of scene.
- The biggest snowflake ever registered was 38 cm. (15 inch).
- There are 312 people in the movie.
- The team behind Frozen are very proud of the Work they had made.
- One of the persons in the show said this (translated to English): In the start of every movie we must make a lot of research epsecially for this. We needed to find out how ice develops, how it's spread out, and how snowflakes develop. You say, that all snowflakes ever created are unique, and we thought this was really interesting, so we created a snowflake generator for the movie. And actually, we used this to make 2,000 different snowflake shapes. Ever time you see a snowflake falling in the movie, it will be one of the 2,000 unique snowflake shapes.

In the third program, Big Hero 6: Access All Areas, learned we also some exciting things.
In Big Hero 6 we follow the boy Hiro. His Brother Tadashi goes on a laboratoy. He has designed a big, white robot called Baymax. One day, there's happen an accident for Tadashi, and Baywax was entrusted to Hiro. When an evil villian with the named Yokai shows up in the city San Fransokyo, Hiro and Baymax joins Tadashi's old friends: Go Go Tomago, Wasabi, Fred, and Honey Lemon.

Facts:

- In the movie, Baymax is an inflatable, big, white robot. His eyes are created by some Japanese bells, someone one of the animators had. They were white with two big, black circles and a line between.
- Big Hero 6 is one of the most technological advanced animation movies ever. For the city San Fransokyo there were made 250,000 trees, and 83,000 Buildings at all.

And another facts about Big Hero 6 is, that the city San Fransokyo is assembled with San Franscisco (United States) and Tokyo (Japan).

In 2016, in January, there was a program with Pixar's The Good Dinosaur. Unfortunately, the program was about to survive the nature. This program followed also Nigel Clarke.

You can find the origin programs here.
